A J Ward Butchers

A J Ward Butchers was established in 1881 by the Ward family and has been serving the local community for over the past 140 years.
After the retirement of Mr James Ward in 1988 the shop was taken over by long serving staff member, Mr Eric Turner and subsequently after his retirement by his son, Mr Chris Turner in 2007 to date.

We source all meat locally from East Anglia. Our aim is that our traditionally skilled butchers provide friendly, individual service, providing bespoke cuts for all customer requirements and we produce all our own homemade Sausages, Burgers, Pies and more…..

We also stock a wide variety of other produce, local whenever possible.
